We take our proven Cyclocross race geometry and tweak it for the road less traveled. Slightly longer chainstays and an intelligently drawn dropout allow for larger tires and racks without making the bike handle like a dump truck. For 2014, we’ve gone ahead and added an X9 Type 2 derailleur to eliminate drivetrain mishaps and a 160mm front rotor for extra stopping power. We also drew up a new Wet Bar handlebar with a short reach and shallow flared drops to keep you comfy on those long rough descents. Top it off with some tubeless compatible Alex CXD 7 wheels, and you’re ready to roll. The Kona Rove, bring a light, it’s going to be a long ride.
