Sir Charles Spencer “Charlie” Chaplin was an English actor, comedian, and filmmaker, who rose to fame in the silent movies era. Chaplin became a worldwide icon through his screen persona “the Tramp” and is considered one of the most important figures in the history of the film industry.
Charlie and another waiter must become bakers when the regular bakers go out on strike. The strikers put dynamite in a piece of bread which is delivered to the cake counter. It winds up in the oven and explodes.
